Salary - £17,484.82-£18,481.12 p.a. based on full working days in the year and dependant on qualifications and experience.

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated individual to support learners in improving their English and Maths skills, assisting with assignment completion and exam preparation. You will help coordinate Exam Access Arrangements by gathering evidence for appropriate adjustments and contribute to EHCP Annual Review reports. Working closely with Personal Tutors, curriculum staff, and Student Services, you will play a key role in ensuring learners are fully engaged and achieve their qualifications successfully.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide, on a one to one and small group basis, high quality interventions that encourage learners to engage and enable the achievement of realistic yet challenging goals to support success and progression.
- To deliver initial assessment activities and use the results to inform support plans, Additional Needs Records and Exam Access Arrangement evidence. To set challenging SMART targets and track progress.
- To interview learners requesting learning support to assess needs and identify reasonable adjustments for classroom and exams. To show learners how to use effective assistive technology.
- To devise support plans & Additional Needs Records identifying strategies to support individual learning needs so that teachers can have an early understanding necessary reasonable adaptations in lessons
- To deliver one to one and small group support tailored to individual learning needs, to include support with English and Maths, assignment support, proof reading, time management and study skills

About You
✔ NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
✔ Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy/GCSE English & Maths grade C/4
✔ Experience of working with a range of client groups.
✔ Experience of supporting learning needs on a one to one or classroom basis.
✔ Experience and knowledge of the education system, in particular further education
